Title/Name: Ms. Cassandra Campagna
Position: 1st Grade Teacher
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Development at UNC Charlotte
Biography: Ms. Campagna was born in West Point, New York, where both her parents were stationed, but grew up mostly here in Fayetteville. She moved to Charlotte after graduating high school and while in college, she studied child development.. She also minored in children’s literature – a lifelong love of hers – and was able to study it abroad at King’s College in London. During her time in college, she had a variety of opportunities to teach and work with children; she was a nanny, a classroom aide, interned in a children’s hospital, and student taught in a self-contained pre-k classroom. Ms. Campagna is thrilled to be back in Fayetteville not only to teach, but also to be close to her immediate family again – her parents, two sisters, brother-in-law, and grandmother all live in Fayetteville and they are a tight knit bunch. She is very involved in her church, The Fayetteville Church and its nonprofit organization, Hope Worldwide. She’s passionate about traveling and the countries she’s visited include South Africa, Germany, Canada, England, and Russia. She hopes to add to that list soon. In her freetime, she enjoys running, doing yoga, reading, hiking, hanging out with her dogs, and eating (a lot). She is thrilled to be teaching at TCEA, and hopes to impart her love of learning, love of reading, and love of life to her students.
