Biography– Mrs. Russ was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She played lacrosse at Miami Palmetto Senior High School, an A rated school known for academics and sports. She attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida where she helped build the lacrosse program and played for all four years. She served as vice president and coached a local girls lacrosse program. After graduating, she moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina where she soon after married her husband. They have two children, Bailey (3) and Sean (1). Mrs. Russ started her teaching career at a low income school in Robeson County. There, she taught middle school Language Arts as well as Journalism. Since moving to North Carolina, Mrs. Russ has coached various cheerleading and lacrosse teams. She enjoys lacrosse, reading, and family time.
