We are a non-profit, independent school system in Fayetteville, NC governed by a local board of directors and operating within the NC Department of Public Instruction, working with The Romine Management Group. We currently offer K-8th grade, with a goal of adding a grade yearly to become K-12th grade. The Capitol Encore Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

treeOur Mascot: Hayes the Chameleon

Capitol Chameleons! In our first year, the students voted for the chameleon to become our school mascot. The mascot is a composite design based on the artwork of two Capitol students, created in year 2. Chameleons are unique, resourceful creatures who adapt as needed to their changing environments. The Chameleon is a fitting mascot for our school as we seek to create respectful, resourceful and responsible students.
