Biography:

Mr. Kline is a writer, director, producer and educator.

A 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a B.F.A. in Acting.  Mr. Kline has directed the award winning short films Live Vid, Love & Coffee and Peri Street: The Series.  He has worked on the Dreamworks SKG film She’s Out of My League in 2008, the Discovery Channel, and ABC Television’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Mr. Kline has directed the plays A Streetcar Named Desire, The Diary of Anne Frank, Lion/Witch/Wardrobe, Fences, Venus In Fur, The Vagina Monologues (Pryer Award for Best Directing), Junie B Jones: The Musical, Alice In Wonderland, The Young Wizards of Oz, Annie Jr, Kids Rule The World, Kids Save The World, Hollow Men, Cold But Soft, The One That Got Away and Kiss Me. Mr. Kline also wrote and directed the children shows Gleekosaur, Gleekosaur II, Gleeks In Space and 20,000 Gleeks Under the Sea for Gilbert Theater’s Glee. Mr.. Kline is the co-founder of Gilbert GATE, an intensive Acting program designed for high school and college students. He has taught Film and Acting at Fayetteville Technical Community College and Cape Fear Regional Theatre. This is his seventh year of teaching at TCEA.

He is the Founding Artistic Director of The Chameleon Children’s Theatre producing the shows Peter Pan, Sleepy Hollow, Pinocchio, Hansel & Gretel, A Christmas Carol, Snow White, The Jungle Book, Frankenstein, Dracula, A Christmas Carol II, Aladdin, Jekyll & Hyde, The Story of the Yara, Thumbelina and Robyn Hood.

Mr. Kline is the recipient of Fayetteville’s 40 and Under 40.
